Greetings Internet Visitor. I am Tom: mathematically-inclined physicist and professional weirdo. My CV can be found here. My Github repositories can be found here.
I am an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at St Joseph's University, Long Island. Before that I was a postdoc at Rutgers NHETC (New High Energy Theory Center), and before that, I was a graduate student the University of Texas at Austin under the supervision of Andrew Neitzke.
My research interests traditionally lie at the crossroads between geometry, quantum field theory, and quantum information. More broadly I am interested in a wide range of topics—I particularly enjoy those involving applications of category theory to solve concrete problems and gain insights that are difficult to realize otherwise.
